From humble beginings to today’s state of the art facilities! Jose Ramirez began Ramirez Transmissions in his garage working part time back in 1986. Through the years his commitment to providing top quality workmanship at a fantastic savings to his customers has allowed him to expand and build his business from that single garage bay to his currant two modern equipped spacious facilities at 1004 – 1026 Claim Street in Aurora, IL.

Jose and much of his staff are certified by ATRA (The Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association). They are constantly receiving top level training and certifications in all the latest technology in today’s domestic and foreign cars, SUV’s, and commercial vehicles.
